Mendelssohn Elijah

Experience the vivid story of the prophet Elijah told through Felix Mendelssohn’s stirring choruses, colourful orchestration and dramatic recitatives.

A blockbuster work to celebrate Noel Edison’s 20th anniversary as artistic director of the TMC.

The role of Elijah will be sung by Daniel Lichti who replaces the originally-scheduled David Pittsinger. Daniel Lichti is acclaimed as one of Canada’s finest concert and oratorio singers. He has performed numerous times with the TMC, including Elijah.
