The TMC returns to St. Paul’s for a concert that fills the beauty of the Basilica with evocative and contemplative music. As has become tradition, the Choir will sing some works from teh Choir Loft with the sound washing down over the audience, and some works from the front of the Church.
This concert brings together Morales’ Parce mihi Domine, one of the glories of the Spanish Renaissance, with stunning works of a newer age. When the Choir premiered Canadian composer Timothy Corlis’ God So Loved the World for choir and solo cello in 2013, it was met with resounding applause and a standing ovation. Here’s your opportunity to here this work again, or for the first time.
