The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir presents its popular Sacred Music for a Sacred Space concerts at St Anne’s Anglican Church on April 8 and 10.

The Choir welcomes guest conductor Simon Rivard, TSO Resident Conductor, who takes over from Gregory Batsleer who was originally scheduled to conduct this concert.

TMC’s annual Sacred Music for a Sacred Space concerts provide a moment for contemplation in the midst of hectic urban lives. Enjoy the soaring beauty of motets from the 16th century by Thomas Tallis and William Byrd, up to contemporary atmospheric works by John Tavener, James MacMillan and Canadian composer Jocelyn Morlock. The concert takes place in the art-filled St. Anne’s Anglican Church, known as the Group-of-Seven Church.
