Interim President and Chief Executive Officer

David is currently the Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Peoples Group, a regulated bank and trust in Canada, and a key partner to the digital financial services ecosystem.

With over 28 years of experience in financial services, David has served in senior leadership positions across North America. While focused on banking and payments, his experience spans strategic planning, transformational operations, technologies, governance, risk and compliance. David has a MBA in Corporate Finance and a MS in Information Assurance.

David has served on the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir’s Board since 2021 and shares the Choir’s focus on making a meaningful impact in communities. Prior to his role as Chair of the Board, he served on the Finance and Governance Committees. A trained pianist, David has supported quite a few choirs and remains an ardent supporter of the arts. He lives in the Greater Toronto Area along with his wife and daughter.
