Tickets are required and available at thedistillerywintervillage.com. Earlier entry time is advised to account for potential queue wait times.

Pathways: Choral Creation
Apply by November 23, 2025
Spearheaded by Artistic Director Jean-Sébastien Vallée and under the mentorship of TMChoir’s Composer-in-Residence Stephanie Martin, aspiring and developing composers will receive unmatched performance resources, expand their professional network, and gain tools to create and share their music widely.
Choral Composition Competition
The Debbie Fleming Prize for Choral Composition was created in 2015 to support the winner of the new annual TMChoir Choral Composition Competition for emerging composers. Debbie Fleming is a TMChoir alumna who sang in the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir for 40 years and who retired in June 2015. The winning work is premiered by the TMChoir.

Conducting Mentoring Program
Apply by November 23, 2025
This program is designed for local conductors of all experience levels, including university students and emerging choral leaders, and will focus on educational activities surrounding the community concert, rather than extensive podium time. The program delivers a personalized, in-depth musical learning experience for participants, combining observation, discussions, and lectures.

Take the Podium
Conducting Symposium
The Take the Podium Conducting Symposium will not take place in the 2025/26 season. Instead, we encourage local emerging conductors to explore the Conducting Mentoring Program, a unique opportunity designed to provide personalized, in-depth musical learning experiences.
We thank everyone for their interest in the symposium and look forward to presenting this annual program in future years.
