with pianist André Laplante

Missed the concert or want to relive it? Enjoy the webcast on livestream.

The TMC returns to the beautiful space and acoustics of Koerner Hall for a concert of choral lieder and solo piano music of the Romantic period. Immerse yourself in the strong lyrical melodies, rich harmonies and expressiveness of works by Brahms, Liszt and Schubert. We are thrilled to welcome Canadian virtuoso pianist André Laplante as soloist.

“Laplante has decades of experience under his fingers, and he remains a vigorous virtuoso, able to send cascades of notes flying gracefully in the air whenever he plays.” John Terauds writing in the Toronto Star.
