Conducting Mentoring Program
Returning for 2026!
The Conducting Mentoring Program is a unique opportunity designed to provide personalized, in-depth musical learning experiences. This program will run over the course of several weeks during winter and spring 2026.
Conducting Mentoring Program
The Conducting Mentoring Program program invites conductors to refine their skills, deepen their musical understanding, and connect with peers from across the GTA. Rather than focusing on extensive podium time, this program features immersive discussions, observation opportunities, and interactive sessions that foster artistic growth and leadership development.
St. Matthew Passion
March 24 & 25, 2026
This year’s mentoring program is centered around Bach’s monumental St. Matthew Passion, offering conductors the unique opportunity to witness firsthand the process of putting together one of classical music’s greatest masterpieces.
Led exclusively by Artistic Director Jean-Sébastien Vallée, the program includes pre-rehearsal workshops, conducting seminars, and rehearsal techniques workshops, culminating in a concert performance of this beloved work.
