TMChoir launches season October 15th with Mozart and Haydn concert and webcast in honour of the Choir’s 120th anniversary.

The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir launches its 2014/15 season on October 15th with a concert at Koerner Hall and a celebration of the Choir’s 120th anniversary.  The Choir, orchestra and soloists will be performing Mozart’s Requiem and Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass, two symphonic masterworks that highlight the type of grand classical repertoire that the TMC has performed to great acclaim for 120 years.  The concert is on Wednesday, October 15 at 7:30 pm in Koerner Hall.

The TMC will also be webcasting this concert.  This will be the first of three TMC concert webcasts this season.  Webcasts are part of TMC outreach efforts and enable the Choir to extend its reach and provide greater access to choral music across Ontario, Canada and internationally.  The Mozart and Haydn concert will be webcast on Livestream at  This webcast is generously sponsored by Lloyd and Dorothy Chiotti, long-time supporters of the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir.
