DESCRIPTION:Join Brainerd Blyden-Taylor for a Singsation workshop.\nIt’s a community singing workshop\, and a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning – with people who love to sing! \nThe Theme: A Celebration of Afrocentric Choral Music\nJoin TMChoir for a vibrant Singsation workshop\, led by the esteemed Brainerd Blyden-Taylor\, founder of The Nathaniel Dett Chorale. This special event marks the 25th Anniversary season of the Chorale\, Canada’s first professional choral group dedicated to Afrocentric music of all styles\, including classical\, spiritual\, gospel\, jazz\, folk and blues. This is a special opportunity to immerse yourself in a dynamic celebration of Afrocentric cultural heritage and musical excellence. \nYour Conductor:\nThis workshop is conducted by Brainerd Blyden-Taylor. \nBrainerd Blyden-Taylor is the Founder\, Artistic Director and conductor of The Nathaniel Dett Chorale\, Canada’s first professional chamber choir dedicated to the creation and performance of Afrocentric music of all styles.
