DESCRIPTION:Join the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir for their 15th annual Choral Conducting Symposium concert\, where six up-and-coming conductors will take the podium after completing a series of masterclasses under the leadership of Artistic Director and Conductor Jean-Sébastien Vallée.\n\nThe six conductors will showcase their work as they conduct the 160 voices of the TMChoir\, including the 24-voice professional ensemble\, the TMSingers\, for this final performance. \nThe program includes Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem\, Frank Martin’s Mass for Double Choir\, works by Lili Boulanger and Mel Bonis\, a commission by TMChoir composer-in-residence Tracy Wong and winner of the 2024 Debbie Fleming prize for the Choral Composition Competition Justin Lapierre’s Lux Aeterna. \nWatch the Concert Online Now
