Special Events

On Friday, October 28th, our annual Passion has a voice Gala hit the Thompson Landry Gallery in Toronto's distillery district. If you were there, you were treated to the musical stylings of tenor Sam Broverman and soprano Jennifer Taverner. The delicious tapas menu was provided by A Taste of Quebec, and Mill St. Brewery was generous enough to provide beverages.
Each year the TMC Gala presumes to claim that we have "Toronto's best silent auction", and this year was no exception. From concert and sports tickets to health and beauty supplies, and from gorgeous original artwork to a plethora of wine, scotch, and whisky, our guests went home with some fantastic stuff, often for amazing prices!
Thank you to everyone who participated! Special thanks go to the evening's sponsors:
We were back at the Summit Golf & Country Club on Monday, August 15th, for the Ninth Annual Alan R. Newman Memorial Golf Classic, benefitting the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir. We enjoyed a great day of sunshine, followed by a delicious three course meal. Our golfers won some great prizes, and one lucky participant went home with a round trip for two to Myrtle Beach!
This was our most successful tournament in several years, with a total of over $26,500 going towards the work of the TMC! We couldn’t have done it without our sponsors:
