The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir is proud of its heritage as Canada's leading symphonic choir. Our mission and purpose is to present the world's greatest choral symphonic works – but in an age of government funding cuts, we could not continue to pursue this mission without the loyal and generous community of individuals who make personal donations to the TMC year after year.

YOU give passion a voice.

Your donations are used to cover the many expenses associated with presenting choral symphonic music: paying our professional choristers and orchestral musicians; rehearsal space; purchasing sheet music; and of course renting top-end venues like Koerner Hall.

We also allocate a portion of each donation towards our education and outreach programming. Each year, we are helping people of all ages to find their own passionate voices through choral music. When you make a gift to the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, you are supporting our vision for a society made better through choral music.

The TMC Donor Rewards Program is designed to recognize the important contribution of our donors, in ways that will enhance their concert experience and help them to be integrated as an important member of our community.

The Mendelssohn Circle

The Mendelssohn Circle is a special group of individuals who donate $1,000 or more annually to the work of the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir. This group creates the foundation of support we need to continue presenting great choral music with the Festival Orchestra.

Conductor's Challenge

Throughout the month of March 2012, TMC Choristers set out to raise $60,000 to offset the expenses of performing with our fully-professional Festival Orchestra, as part of our annual Conductor's Challenge fundraising campaign.

100% of our choristers, staff and board of directors chose to participate in this year's campaign, and thanks to the outstanding dedication of all our supporters, we smashed our goal and came in with a total of over $70,000!

We are so thankful to everyone who made a contribution to this effort. The success of this year's campaign will allow us to maintain and build upon the level of musical excellence that you have come to expect from us!
