Singsation Saturdays

Come and sing with us!

Singsation Saturdays are choral workshops for everyone who loves to sing, no matter the level. Participants join with guest conductors and some TMC choristers to explore an exciting range of master choral works -- everything from beloved works written by the great classical composers to contemporary works. Noted local conductors share insight into the works and broaden our understanding of the composer's artistic vision and the historic context in which the composition was created. There is a break with fruit, doughnuts, coffee and tea, and a chance to meet the conductor and visit with other choristers.

During our successful 2011-12 season, between 75 and 135 singers joined us for each workshop. Plan to add your voice to Singsations in 2012-13. The fee is $10 per workshop, which includes refreshments. Bring your voice, we provide the music. 

Check back in May for the 2012-13 schedule. Singsations take place at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church. The first Singsation for the 12/13 season will be on October 20 th with David Holler conducting Mozart’s Coronation Mass.
