Our thanks go to the
– TMC Concert Patron and CC Donor since 2007
It has been my great privilege to conduct the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir since 1997, during which time we have continued our long history of performing traditional symphonic choral repertoire, introducing rarely performed and contemporary choral works, and championing Canadian musicians and composers. For a snapshot of what goes into just one TMC season, check out our fun Championing Choral Music graphic.
Like all performing arts organizations, the TMC raises funds from multiple sources in support of our work. The Conductor’s Challenge campaign was launched in 2005 to enable the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir to continue to program symphonic choral works in each concert season. Since then, hundreds of individuals who love what we do have donated over $400,000 through the Conductor’s Challenge.
As the conductor of this magnificent Choir, I challenge you to join me in making a financial donation to the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir this year. Your gift will support the artistic and performance excellence that we have worked so diligently to achieve, honouring our commitment to providing audiences one of the very finest choral experiences in Canada.
Whether you are a singer, a lover of choral music or a friend of the TMC, your gift, no matter the size, is of vital importance to our collective fundraising efforts.
As always, you have my deepest appreciation,
Noel Edison, Artistic Directorr
The Conductor’s Challenge goal this year is to raise $75,000!
